Owner Drivers at Warden Law 2012 Practice Times and Costs
Mid-week Practice is available every day mid week but only when hire karts are not on the circuit. Please ring to check availability. A sticker will be given to you when signing on …. please stick it onto the Nassa panel on your kart before going onto the circuit. *No use of Max or TKM Karts after 5pm. *Mid week practice fees for 2011 are £20.00 to members and £25.00 to non-members, with a £5.00 reduction after 4pm. Mid week practice is generally supervised
from Race Control using Amber Beacons on each marshal post to warn drivers
when the circuit is partially blocked. All drivers must respect the
lights and practice in accordance with the circuit's Code of Practice.
All members have received the Code within the membership pack. A copy
is on the T&WKC display board and the kart club website www.twkartclub.com
with copies available from reception on request. Ignorance of the Code
of Practice is no excuse! Weekends Weekends are our busiest times for hire kart races; however we have introduced times for owner drivers below: Saturdays - no owner driver practice except for the Saturday prior to race day, with practice as follows: Karting North East aims to offer 10 minutes per hour to owner drivers (excluding cadets) between hire kart events. There is no use of 2 stroke karts beyond 5pm, with all other kart sessions finishing by 8pm. Cost: £15.00 to members, £20.00 to non-members. *No
Cadet Karts are able to practice on Saturdays. Race incidents may result
in reduced circuit availability. Sundays - When it's not a race weekend, exclusive practice will be available for owner drivers from 9am to 1pm. There will therefore be no practice on 1st Sunday (owner driver race day) or the 3rd Sunday (hire kart race day).Practice will be run in strictly controlled 10 minute sessions.
*Members -£20.00 *Non-members-£25.00 Monthly Pass We have introduced a monthly pass for members of the Tyne and Wear Kart Club, it includes unlimited testing plus entry into the owner driver race day on the 1st Sunday of the month. Passes will be available for each calendar month starting 1st September 2011. One Month Owner Driver Testing Pass
